History of SCSTW

The South China Sea Tsunami Workshop (SCSTW) was initiated in 2007 by the internationally recognized tsunami expert Professor Philip L.-F. Liu of Cornell University, U.S.A., with the aim of shedding light on numerous scientific questions related to warning systems and mitigation technologies. Over the years, the SCSTW series has substantially advanced our understanding through the collaborative work of multidisciplinary researchers worldwide.
